The Kingdom Plan of God – The Spiritual Boldness of Living Fully – A Beautiful Proclamation

So, a second time they called the man who had been blind, and said to him, “Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner.” He then answered, “Whether He is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” John 9:24-25
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17
Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed and do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready with an explanation for everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. 1 Peter 3:13-15

Today's thoughts from today's verses:

When we are not truly in step with the Spirit through self-surrender, etc., bold attempts to reach the world often get ugly. Someone once said that touching the world is like sharing a song with others. The message of Good News provides the lyrics, and our lives provide the musical notes (melody). Far too often people boldly proclaim the message but without any music. A song with only words and no notes is not pretty. Spiritual boldness is always beautiful. God works through us producing a beautiful song for those around us to hear and be blessed. Spiritual boldness comes readily to the one who truly knows that their beautiful song will be totally God’s doing.

Today's prayer response from today's thoughts:

Lord, help me to stay in step with your Spirit. May my surrender be real, consistent, and effective. Flow through me to others in a mighty way. May the music and words of my life have a beauty that inspires them to want a full life and helps them come and find it in you. Amen!
