Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-6
Today's thoughts from today's verses:
I think this week’s considerations give us a pretty clear picture of what God has called us to generally as His people and the passage above is a fitting way to wrap things up. May God graciously help us walk as fully as possible in the manner He is calling us to right now. Go back over the devotionals for the week. They are fairly short, and it won’t take you very long. Let God give you an overall sense of his calling. Then ask him to give some specifics regarding what he’s calling you to as a member of the body of Christ. My prayer is that at this time in history God will have His way more than ever before with each of us, our church, and His people all around the world. God bless you and keep you!
