Marriage, Family, and Beyond - Raising Kids to Live Fully – Persevering Over Faltering

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. Mark 10:13
This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent …. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:3, 17-21
Today's thoughts from today's verses:
The following was said in the opening of this week’s study, and it bears being said again as we conclude. God’s presence, guidance, strength, and comfort can be counted on completely as we stay faithful to the task of raising our kids to live fully for God. Our job is to stay close to God throughout the journey, seek His guidance for the task, rely on his strength, and experience His deep comfort in all our faithful efforts. May God bless you richly and thank you for all you do to bless your children with love and faith.
Today's prayer response from today's thoughts:
Lord, we hold up our kids before you that you might touch them and bless them. With childlike faith, we seek to be faithful for the long run. Grant that we continually persevere without faltering. Thank you for your faithfulness to us. You are everything we and our kids need. You are amazing.  Amen!
