Amy
was born in beautiful Boulder,
Colorado, to strong Christian
parents. She grew up in a family that attended church every time the doors were
open. Because it was her Sunday school teacher who led her to
the Lord, Amy believes strongly in the influence teachers have in the lives of their
students.
Amy
attended Baptist Bible
College in Springfield, Missouri, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She
spent the last 5 years teaching at a Christian school in Hollywood, Florida, and this past year she received
her Florida
teacher’s certification as well as teacher of the year.
Amy
enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, and soccer. She loves to watch any of her Colorado teams, but her
favorite sport to cheer for is hockey. She also enjoys hanging out with
friends, game nights, and shopping. She loves finding a new verse in the Bible
or new meaning in a verse she has known since childhood. Amy is excited about
the opportunity to expand the children’s ministry at Cape Cod Church
and to help more and more children fully live for God.
